Disability Sensitivity Awareness Activities

Students learned a disability is a physical or mental condition that limits a person's movements, senses, or activities.  Our students need to understand that many kids and adults in our school have disabilities of one type of another.  There's also plenty of successful, famous people with disabilities.  People with disabilities do not get to choose their disabilities--they just adapt and go with it.

The stations addressed visual impairments, hearing impairments, physical disabilities, and learning disabilities.
